We are currently recruiting for a working foreman/woman to join our estates/facilities team at GDMA Group. Being in this role means that you will be the face of GDMA on site, liaising with trades, sub-contractors & consultants.

Salary: [Depending on skills and qualifications]

Main duties and responsibilities:
-Responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring the projects are delivered correctly, on time and in a safe and efficient manner
-Ensure site operatives are working to high standards while working to all constructional details.
-Sequentially working in a logical sequence to maximise labour & materials
-Reporting directly to the visiting Project Manager
-Expected to work alongside other trades, monitoring & driving other contractors along


The right candidate will have:
-SSSTS
-Joinery certification NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) -Driving licence (cat B)
-First Aid
-Good communication skills
-Awareness of site Health & Safety requirements
-Positive working attitude
-Decision making skills -Report writing
-Simple programming
-Time Management skills
-Safe working practices
-Previous experience in a similar role
-Ability to interoperate drawings & technical specifications
-Strong attention to detail
-Experience of 1st & 2nd fix joinery works
-Repair and Maintenance experience
