Our client is a fit-out contractor who work on super high end projects in Central London.
They're looking for a Senior Estimator to work on a Remote basis with occasional travel to London sites.
Responsibilities:Â
- Develop detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracts.
- Manage the tendering process, evaluate bids from subcontractors, and negotiate terms to achieve the best value for the project.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate cost overruns.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project constraints.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising on quality or project requirements.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting any potential risks or opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure all estimates comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
In return, our client is offering: £70k - £80k + package.
