We are proud to be recruiting for a Digital Skills Tutor on a full time, permanent, remote basis. The perfect candidate will be a qualified and experienced Employability Tutor, working with unemployed adult learners and supporting with gaining knowledge and skills which will support the learners to progress in sustainable employment with experience in delivering Digital Skills such as Digital Marketing, IT User Skills, Web Design, IT Infrastructure etc. Our client are an award winning organisation, working all across the UK supporting hundreds and thousands of people gain qualifications that will support in their futures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- The Digital Skills Tutor will be responsible for the following:
- Deliver level 1 courses in Web design, games design, cyber security and mental health
- Completion admin tasks such as induction and exit paperwork, marking assignments, registers etc
- Deliver the courses effectively through an online platform or face to face when required
Experience and Skills
- Hold a Teaching qualification such as PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS or equivalent
- Occupational competence in teaching digital skills as well as working in the industry
- Strong IT skills and the use of online video platforms as this is required when teaching a distant learning class.
