Job Title: VAT Manager/VAT Senior Manager
Location: Fully remote role
Salary: 60,000- 85,000 + Benefits
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated VAT Manager/ Senior Manager to join our client, working in a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage VAT advisory and compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Provide expert guidance on VAT-related issues, including cross-border transactions, partial exemptions, and complex VAT structures
- Work closely with clients to ensure VAT planning, risk management, and compliance with the latest legislation
- Identify and implement VAT-saving opportunities, while minimizing risks
- Manage VAT audits, inquiries, and disputes with HMRC
- Develop and mentor junior team members, helping them to achieve their career goals
- Stay updated on VAT legislation and provide insight on the impact of changes
Requirements:
- Must be ACA/CTA qualified with significant VAT advisory experience
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU VAT regulations
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality VAT advisory services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
