A Day in the Life of a CPN:

Join our team as a Band 6 CPN and make a real difference in the lives of young people in crisis. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Providing crisis assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.
  • Delivering rapid response care to manage urgent mental health concerns.
  • Working closely with CAMHS services, families, and external agencies to ensure appropriate support.
  • Administering medications and carrying out risk assessments.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
  • Experience working within CAMHS and crisis services.
  • Strong communication and crisis intervention skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Car driver needed due to community-based visits.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This full-time role offers flexibility, requiring availability Monday to Sunday, with long day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) available. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
