Meridian Business Support Education division are working on behalf of a School in the Halton area.  They require an experienced School Admin/Receptionist to work in their school. Role:                  School Administration/Receptionist Start:                 As soon as possible Salary: £25,584 - £27,269 (pro rata) – Term time only!Location:           Halton, Cheshire Duration:          Temp to perm Our client is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of School Administrator/Receptionist. Are you versatile, adaptable and an enthusiastic School Administrator / Receptionist, with a willingness to adapt to every changing situation.Our client is hoping to recruit someone who can work independently and manage time well to deliver administrative support to the school team. A suitable applicant would possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in a range of organisational and IT processes including knowledge with SIMS, CPOMS and MIS. The ideal candidate will have 
  • Have experience working in a school office
  • Have a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Be able to manage multiple complex priorities under pressure
  • Be able to build and maintain good relationships with pupils, parents and carers, staff, schools, youth workers and educational and safeguarding professionals 
  • Be able to manage their own time and work to deadlines
  • Have experience of handling sensitive and confidential material
  • Understand and support the schools’ policies and ethos
  • Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and its application and implementation
  • Have excellent ICT skills with knowledge of SIMS, CPOMS and MIS
  • Be able to work in a team and have a good sense of humour
