Roles and responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
- identify opportunitiesfor process improvements
- Manage day to day operations for a designated portfolio of products
- Execute procurement activities with autonomy for sustainable sourcing
- Manage medium to large spend categories within the assigned product portfolio
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure continuous supply
- Arrange and participate in supplier meetings and industry events
- Run contract reports and MRP
- Present market data and insights to stakeholders
- Implement cost saving initiatives
- Supplier negotiations
- Monitor global markets and staying up to date on market conditions
- Advise and assist stakeholders on procurement related matters
- Any other duties which arise which contribute to the successfulrunning of the procurement function
Requirements for the role:
- Ideally a qualification in Supply Chain
- Experience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain environment
- Strong commercialacumen
- Collaborative team player
- Strong ERP knowledge
- Flexibility to travel where necessary
- Experience of purchasing a high volume of SKU's
