Learning & Development Partner

Our client is a multiple award-winning family run business, established for over 40 years and are currently enjoying rapid growth. As part of their ongoing commitment to continue the development journey of their colleagues, they are now looking for a Learning & Development partner to join the HR team! This is not only an exciting time to join the business but is also the opportunity to make a difference to their employee experience.Becoming an integral part of the HR team, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination and management of all internal training initiatives and employee development cycle, ensuring all procedures are followed. You will be working closely with colleagues/management in providing the best level of support.

This role will suit you if you are looking for your next step on the L&D career ladder and have a genuine passion for helping others achieve their personal development goals.As Learning and Development Partner, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive L&D strategies and streamline onboarding.
  • Distribute pre-course materials and track attendance.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Liaison for third-party training providers, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Maintain and optimise the training system.
  • Generate comprehensive training reports and L&D data.
  • Champion advanced Management/Leadership training, contributing to talent pool growth.
  • Coaching and upskilling of Business Group Heads and Business Services managers in the development of their people management skills.
  • Work with HR team and stakeholders on various HR and L&D projects.
  • Delivering value-add L&D support.
  • Support the wider HR team in Talent and Performance Management.
  • Assisting with identifying training needs and developing courses and plans.
  • Coordinating all L&D activities including in-house training programme.
  • Coordinating induction training plans for all new starters.
  • Logging external training spend and mapping this against budget.
  • Create resources such as written documentation, mini Learning Hub articles and videos.
  • Conduct onsite workshops sessions.
