About the Role
The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently working with a reputable business based in Wellingborough with the support to hire an experienced FP&A Business Partner. As an FP&A Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving financial performance by providing strategic insights and commercial analysis. You'll support decision-making by translating financial data into actionable recommendations and partnering with senior stakeholders to optimise profitability.
As the FP&A Business Partner, key responsibilities include:
- Improving the understanding and impact of financial reporting on business performance.
- Providing in-depth analysis and insights that link financial data to strategic business decisions.
- Developing and implement commercially effective procedures to drive operational and financial success.
- Partnering with business leaders to deliver financial analysis and commercial insights that support decision-making.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers and their teams.
- Contributing to special projects focused on growth strategies, process optimisation, and capital allocation.
As the successful FP&A Business Partner, you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or fully qualified
- 2+ years in a commercial finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and challenge stakeholders.
- Confident in presenting financial insights to senior teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
