Are you a passionate and qualified Teaching Assistant? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well established Primary school in Salford. This long-term position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ education and development.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to help pupils engage with the curriculum and achieve their goals.

• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

• Assist pupils with additional needs by tailoring resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that builds confidence and independence.

• Help manage classroom transitions and maintain a calm, productive atmosphere.

• Work closely with staff and parents to monitor and encourage pupil progress and well-being.

Requirements

We are seeking someone who:

• Holds relevant qualifications, such as Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

• Has experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in a primary school setting.

• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed.

• Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Is proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
