Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Salford who are looking for an Out of School Club TA on a permanent basis.

You will be working across the Infant and Junior sites with plenty of outdoor space and a forest school to use. The right person will be enthusiastic and creative to support the manager in continue to developing the team. The hours will be mutually agreed but will usually be 7:30am-9:15am for the Breakfast Club and 2:45pm to 6:15pm for the After School Club.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent suitable qualifications that would support the role
  • Have a sound understanding of the current legislation relating to the Safeguarding of children and the responsibilities that go with this
  • Previous experience of working with Primary aged children
  • Be hard working, professional and reliable and keep good time keeping
  • Be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders including school leaders and parents and carers
  • Have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs
