A great opportunity is now available for a SEND Teaching Assistant to start a new position in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford!

Sennen Education are working with a primary school who are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be working in a mixed ability class and with children who have Special Educational Needs.

The school are looking to recruit someone who has experience working with children who have complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties, associated communication and language difficulties and challenging behaviours. This is a very rewarding role and you will get to see first hand the impact your support has on children.

This is a full time role to work Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm. This has an opportunity to go long term and permanent.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • Minimum 3-6 months UK experience working with children who have SEND
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Engaging, positive and reliable.

Safeguarding children is at the heart of what we do and we undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current, enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. We offer all our registered candidates free safeguarding and prevent duty training.
