Job Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing and established fashion-wear company in Salford is seeking aStock Controllerto join their team at the fashion studio.

The ideal candidate needs to be responsible, accountable forshipment logistics and warehouse management

In this role,you willlead a small warehouse team andbe responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and tracking of products within the warehouse facilities. Your keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the seamless flow of goods and the success of our distribution operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

•Manage in-coming shipments

•Organize delivery schedules and invoicing

•Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records, both at site and with external contractors

•Generate reports on stock levels, order status, inventory performance for management review

•Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments

•Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of incoming stock

•Monitor inventory turnover rates and take proactive measures to address slow-moving or obsolete items

Requirements and skills

•Proven experience instockcontrol

•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to priorities tasks effectively.

•Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales & Account Management, Finance, and Merchandising

•Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

•Driving licence for small van
