The Copthorne Hotel Manchesteris seeking anF&B Supervisorto play an integral part in our Food & Beverage Department. You will work closely with Food and Beverage Manager ensuring a high standard of customer service is offered at all times, supervising the team to deliver a great experience for our guests.

As F&B Supervisor key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with recruitment and selection of Food & Beverage team members
  • Training new and existing team members to deliver excellent customer service, providing feedback and support as required
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained within the Food & Beverage areas
  • Taking responsibility for the float, payments and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the team
  • To assist in the planning and organisation of all Food & Beverage operations on a daily basis to ensure its smooth running of the department
  • Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure that all outlets are operating efficiently at all times.
  • Attending meetings as required
  • Participating in the Duty Manager rota as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Supervisory experience, particularly within the hospitality industry would be advantageous
  • Proven experience within a Food & Beverage, ideally within a hotel/quality establishment
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach
  • A positive can do attitude and great team player
  • Experience of MICROS
