About The RoleAbout The RoleWe have a vacancy for a Cover Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.Vacancy Type: Permanent Hours Per Week: 36Shift Pattern: 07:00-19:00 Days/19:00-07:00 NightsYour main responsibilities may also include:
- Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
- CCTV control monitoring
- Issuing of keys and maintaining all relevant documentation regarding issue/return
- Fire, security and building systems monitoring
- Service area barrier control and traffic management
- Switch board operator (Training Provided)
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written, with a good grasp of the English language
- Basic level of computer literacy advantageous
- Experience of working within the Security Industry
- SIA licence is essential SG/DS
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
- Must have a CCTV Licence
- First aid and AED training advantageous but not essential
- Valid photograph ID (Passport or Driving licence) for vetting purposes
