My client is looking for a Trainee Property Portfolio Manager to join their team as part of a succession plan. The successful candidate will be provided with the necessary training to become a Law of Property Act Receiver and take over as Head of Department over a 2 to 3 year period. There will be requirements to undertake relevant qualifications.
On a day to day basis, you will be remotely managing a portfolio of residential property located across the UK in accordance with strategy.
Duties include but are not limited to.
- Be personally responsible for a large portfolio or properties preparing a strategy to result in the best outcome for all stakeholders
- Manage cases in accordance with agreed strategy to include taking necessary action
- Liaise with tenants, landlords, local authorities, letting agency, solicitors and stakeholders as required by telephone, email and letter
- Liaise with contractors to arrange planned and ad-hoc maintenance as required
- Assist with the production of client internal reports
In order to succeed within this role, candidates require strong conflict resolution and leadership skills. Experience of property management, lettings or legal processes are preferred but a willingness to work towards required qualifications is required. Candidates must possess strong administrative and communication skills and offer a flexible and proactive approach to their work.
Once you have passed probationary period, candidates can work from home on a hybrid basis - with two days working from home
In return, you will be given a basic salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience, generous holiday allowance and additional benefits.
