- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
- Coordinate and manage property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment projects as necessary.
- Handle tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and property check-ins and check-outs.
- Manage rental arrears and ensure timely rent collection.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations, including health and safety and GDPR requirements.
- Oversee the resolution of tenant disputes and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records for each property, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and securely stored.
- Assist with marketing and letting of vacant properties when required.
- Previous experience in property management is essential.
- Strong understanding of current property legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- ARLA qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.
