RG Consultancy are working with a well-established and growing business based in Sandbach who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant. This is a brand-new fantastic opportunity with a company who rarely recruit. You will join a medium sized finance team and report back to the Financial Controller

The Role
- To support the purchase ledger, process invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner
- Sales ledger and credit control
- Managing petty cash
- Processing payments and preparing refunds
- Posting of all receipts and payments and ensure allocated correctly
- Daily bank postings
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier reconciliations
- To support the finance department and carry out any ad hoc tasks as required by the financial controller.
The Person
- An AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience using SAP or similar system would be an advantage
- Good MS Excel skills
- Experience working within a purchase ledger clerk or all-around accounts role is essential
