My client is looking for Conveyancing PA to join their law firm in Sandbach. The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office, and are a proactive, team-oriented individual with attention to detail and confidentiality. Legal experience is essential.

Salary: £24,000+

Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Please note this is an on-site and full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • File opening and file admin
  • Money laundering protocols, obtaining ID etc
  • Preparing quotes
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents and other parties
  • Preparing contract packs with fee earner assistance
  • Drafting documents with fee earner assistance
  • Working on title reports with fee earner assistance
  • Preparing financial statements and bills
  • Dealing with funds transfers (all transfers require director approval)
  • Dealing with SDLT payments with fee earner assistance
  • Working on title registrations with fee earner assistance
  • Assisting colleagues where necessary including answering phones in busy periods and sitting on reception for short periods

Required Experience:

  • Accurate typing skills
  • Must have experience within Conveyancing
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook 2010.
  • Computer literate
  • Organisational skills including efficient diary management
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Able to work in a team
