Ecologist Position Overview
- Conduct protected species surveys and habitat assessments
- Assist in preparing tenders and fee quotations
- Produce technical reports (Bat, PEA, BNG, protected species reports)
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, with potential involvement in larger schemes
- Collaborate with a team of skilled ecologists and environmental professionals
Ecologist Position Requirements
- 3-6+ years of experience in the ecology sector
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related discipline
- Protected species license (desirable)
- Comprehensive understanding of UK wildlife legislation
- Full UK driving license
- CIEEM membership preferred
