We are working with an established manufacturer in the Ramsgate area who are looking for a Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis, in office.

You will play a crucial role in the operations, ensuring the smooth handling of goods and materials.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Handling good in activities, including receipting, counting, and ERP data entry.
  • Maintaining the warehouse, managing stock movements and control using the ERP system.
  • Allocating stock and kitting components into Work Packages.
  • Ensuring traceability of goods and materials.
  • Preparing materials for shipping and receiving goods after external processing.
  • Packing goods for dispatch according to industry standards or customer requirements.
  • Booking couriers and dispatching goods, ensuring Export Compliance rules are followed.
  • Performing general maintenance activities.
  • Driving details as required.
  • Any additional tasks as required by the line management.

  • Qualifications & Experience:

    • Forklift License (Preferable but not essential)
    • English and Maths, GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent)
    • Previous warehouse experience (not essential)

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Effective written and oral communication.
    • Computer Literate (MS Office Packages).
    • Multi-Skilled.
    • Good Communicator.
