Due to sustained growth, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at our Eastry development.

Â
Role ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Client valuations including thorough measurement as work progresses, through to final account
- Cash flow forecasts and monitoring against programme
- Accurate valuation, forecasting and monitoring of site Preliminaries
- Ensure full recovery and valuation of variations/instructions
- Provision of timely and accurate documentation, warranties and the like, both internally and externally
- Ensuring that the procurement of subcontractors is undertaken in a timely and cost effective manner
- Administration of subcontractor contracts and accounts
- Ensuring that payments/notices are issued in accordance with the Subcontract and Construction Act
- Timely production of subcontract final accounts, including re-measurement and valuation of all variations as necessary to facilitate the optimum result
- Keep the Managing Surveyor informed of the progress of both client and subcontractor accounts through to their finalisation, including the release of retentions
- Compile monthly Cost/Value reconciliations and forecasts, including future risks and opportunities, and present to the senior management team
- Ensure any commercial threats to projects are identified swiftly and communicated to the Managing Surveyor and all contractual notices are issued correctly and on time
- Attend meetings and ensure that surveying information and cost advice is provided in an accurate, timely and proficient manner.Â

RequirementsÂ
- Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience of working for a Main Contractor
- Design and build experienceÂ
- Excellent communication skillsÂ
- Experienced in commercially managing large scale projectsÂ
