Role: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: 56,000 per annum + bonuses + pension + benefits
The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor role will be:-
- The day to day co-ordination and supervising of the Maintenance Team
- Mentoring and developing the Maintenance team around
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard utilising continuous improvement methodology
- Maintaining the company 5S standards in all maintenance areas
- Ensuring and monitoring best practice from a health and safety standpoint
- Ensure that all internal and external maintenance technicians are fully trained & adhering to company policy
- Ideal a qualification in Engineering (HNC/HND, Time Served in Mechanical engineering). Bias is Mechanical with an appreciation for Electrical aspects.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment FMCG, Packaging, Food ideally.
- Health & Safety Qualification or heavily trained in NEBOSH/IOSH/Machine
- Strong communicator with the team, management and all internal stakeholders
- Strong coach and mentor to the team. Day to day improvement and development of the team is a massive part of this role.
You will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to develop and improve the Maintenance team around you
