Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a business in Selby who manufacture and distribute within the FMCG industry. The role will be responsible for supporting the internal quality programmes and processes; implementing, managing and performing the quality procedures such as ISO 9001, BRC, & HACCP. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business with a strong global presence who can offer development and further training. Duties & responsibilities:Â
- Support the implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Co-ordinate and assist with on-going site audits to assure compliance to company, customer & ISO standards; communicate status of process to appropriate management.
- Work collaboratively with operational staff in the development of process and quality systems improvement.
- Maintain and strengthen relations with customers assuring that the business and customer quality requirements are integrated.
- Support analysis of customer complaints and their monthly reporting.
- Release and maintenance of quality package documentation for product/ production plant.
I'm keen to speak to candidates with the following skillset:Â
- Knowledge and experience of quality assurance processes with respect to food safety, allergen control and HACCP..
- Demonstrable experience in quality control and quality assurance
- Experience and familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or similar
- Numerate, Literate with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of Sage and SAP would be advantageous.
