Job Title: Factory General Operative

Salary: £11.44 hour increasing £12.21 hour April 1st 2025
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the efficient operation of our factory. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am -16.30pm and Friday 6am-12noon.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and equipment as required.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Assist in the assembly and packaging of products.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
