Description

  • Perform daily bookkeeping duties including recording, classifying, and summarising financial transactions.
  • Review and reconcile financial statements and ledgers.
  • Monthly CIS returns
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Data entry up to accounts preparation and completion
  • Completion and calculations of self assessments
  • Corporation Tax returns
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare various financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Work closely with other team members in the accounting and finance department.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Support auditing activities when necessary.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
  • A qualification in AAT/ICB
