A tremendous opportunity for an experienced Client Manager to join this highly-regarded semi-autonomous firm of accountants (but part of a larger group) to be based from their offices in the rural south-west Kent area.
The firm are expert within the VV/PE-backed tech start-up space and with a strong reputation for some of the specialised tax work it offers.
The role will manage ongoing client relationships and ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded on an ongoing basis.
Key duties to include:
- Manage client take-on procedures - including AML, engagement letters, job stages, client onboarding process followed etc
- Managing quality assurance
- Managing client expectations and deadlines
- Manage billing and WIP - including relevant WIP adjustments to be provided to the WPL finance team
- Manage debt collection
- Identifying any opportunities to cross sell/upsell to our clients on a regular basis
- Managing cover and/or client expectations, when delivery team members are on annual leave/study leave etc
- Manage ongoing AML checks for each client
- Review work of the business services team and suggest improvements
- Continually review and update where necessary the scope and/or price of works being carried out on behalf of our clients
This role might suit a high-calibre and experienced Practice manager with in excess of 5 years’ of fast-paced Practice experience under their belts.
