Compliance Manager

Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation in Kent who are seeking a HSEQ Professional. As a HSEQ Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the business adheres to regulations and maintains high standards of safety and quality.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure the business is fully compliant with current regulations and industry standards, monitor predicted changes, and implement recommendations as required.
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 & 14001 throughout the business and its subsidiaries.
  • Prepare, conduct, and report on audits and inspections across all business aspects, including on-site installations, sales processes, and customer care.
  • Complete and record risk assessments for different aspects of installation and be on-site for installations of high degrees of difficulty.
  • Provide day-to-day advice on Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of the business.
  • Deliver reports on Compliance adherence throughout the business, raising concerns and recommendations as required, and presenting these reports to Directors and Stakeholders.
  • Assist in Research and Development documentation and support the manufacturing team with necessary research into products and regulations.
  • Monitor company accreditations, maintain these, and ensure compliance at all times, ensuring customers receive high-quality services and products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with ISO 9001 & 14001 auditing and implementation.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 equivalent.
  • Fire Safety qualification is recommended but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of Building regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organised, attentive to detail, and proactive.
