Business Support Officer
- Salary: £13.62 per hour (PAYE)
- Location: Sheffield, S1
- Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (22.5 hours per week, Wed, Thurs, Fri)
We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team at Business Sheffield. In this role, you will play an important part in helping small businesses in the city to scale up. This position offers the opportunity to facilitate growth in the local community using telephone and administration skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle telephone enquiries, offering advice, guidance, signposting, and support to customers across a diverse range of service functions. Handle signposting and queries efficiently through phone and administrative tasks.
- Respond to various correspondence and manage incoming and outgoing information.
- Refer clients to business advisors and facilitate workshops as needed.
- Input, check, and maintain a variety of electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring information is accurate and stored appropriately.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with telephone systems in a business support environment.
- Customer service experience.
- Administration experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to record information accurately.
