We are working with a brilliant school in Sheffield who are looking for a Temporary School Finance Officer role. Your new role
This role is open to full and part-time applicants, but previous school experience and ideally an up-to-date DBS is required.You will be required to maintain the school's financial management system, supporting the business manager and finance team with everything related to processing income and expenditure of the school.Day to day activities can include:Process weekly BACS runUpdate income registersProcess invoicesProduce purchase ordersReconcile bank statementsAssist with the preparation and submission of statutory reports as required, for example, VAT reports or reconciliations to the local authority.Prepare reports for the head teacher and governors.Experience with SIMSWhat you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a recent DBS check on the update service or be open to completing a new DBS application.
Previous experience working in a school environment.AAT qualifiedWhat you'll get in return
The school will be looking for support on a long term basis with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.£13-£15 p/hour dependent on experience.
