Join our Property Services team as a Senior Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in delivering a broad range of projects and services. This includes acquisition, disposal, and valuation work aimed at maximising the value of our property holdings and supporting the Council’s vision for inclusive growth. You will be a key part of our helpdesk, providing essential support to both internal and external enquiries.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist enquirers at the Property Service helpdesk, handling contacts via phone, email, or enquiry forms.
  • Record details accurately and ensure they are updated on systems and passed to colleagues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Interrogate systems to provide updates to enquirers who contact the helpdesk seeking information.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as required by the service.
  • Manage a busy helpdesk environment dealing with internal colleagues, councillors, and external customers, maintaining a professional, helpful, and friendly manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role demonstrating strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Proficient in basic IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
