Our client, a large Multi-Academy Trust comprising of 27 academies across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire area, is seeking a dynamic Office Manager for a one-year fixed term contract.

The role will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school.

The Office Manager will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • All school administration to support the Head teacher and other senior Leaders within the Academy
  • Procurement and resources ensuring best value is attained for the Academy
  • Human Resources ensuring the Trust policies are followed and lead on all aspects of recruitment, from writing adverts, creating job descriptions and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Working closely with payroll on contract changes and pay increases
  • Premises Management working with the Health & Safety Officer to ensure H&S compliance is in place and updated when necessary
  • Marketing and IT

The successful Office Manager will be educated to GCSE level (grade A* - C), or equivalent, in English and Maths, together with a relevant qualification at level 4 and above. You will bring experience of working within a busy school or business environment, with knowledge of managing and developing staff.

This is an exciting role where the successful candidate can confidently manage multiple workstreams, bringing positive energy and a good work ethic.

This is an onsite, full-time role, working 35 hours per week.
