Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are excited to be exclusively recruiting for a global design and manufacturing company. Our client is dedicated to providing top quality products and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketplace Manager to join our clients’ team and oversee operations on Amazon, Ebay, Mirakl, Merchant Hubs, Shopify and other online marketplaces.

The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising the online presence across multiple ecommerce platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of these platforms, as well as Excel, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive sales growth through optimisation of marketplace activities.

Responsibilities:

Marketplace management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our online stores on Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and other relevant marketplaces.
  • Ensure all product listings are accurate, optimised for search, and compliant with each platform’s guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across all platforms, coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure availability and timely restocking.
  • Handle product pricing, promotions, descriptions, images and discounts to remain competitive and drive sales.
  • Manage the launch of new products on all marketplaces, ensuring they are effectively presented and marketed.

Sales Optimisation

  • Conduct keyword research and optimise product listings to improve search rankings and visibility on each platform.
  • Implement strategies to enhance product discoverability and conversion rates.
  • Manage promotions, deals and discounts to maximise sales and profitability.

Analytics and reporting

  • Track and analyse sales performance, customer reviews, and overall marketplace health.
  • Generate regular reports on key metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and profitability.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to maximise marketplace potential.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and implement best practices.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge    

  • Proven experience of managing online marketplaces, specifically Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving marketplace performance.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in using marketplace management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
