Elevation Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a precision machining company in Sheffield for a CNC Turner to join their growing team.

Location: SheffieldSalary: £32,480Shift Pattern: Mornings & Afternoons (with an early finish on Fridays during the afternoon shift)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Okuma and Mazak Lathes
Update tool wear offsets, load programs, and perform basic setups
Machine exotic materials
Work to tight tolerances
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Adhere to fine tolerances within a 6S environment
Follow production schedules to meet output targets
Conduct planned health and safety checks on equipment
Maintain high standards of housekeeping

Requirements:

Experience with CNC Turning machines
Previous experience machining small to medium components
Ability to follow and maintain all necessary documentation
Experience working to fine tolerances in a 6S environment
Familiarity with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls is desirable
Experience with exotic alloys is preferred but not essential
