People Officer

Interim for 12 months

Sheffield based - 2/3 days a week in the office

Up to £29.5k

People Officer Opportunity - Generalist Role

The role will be providing generalist support to employees and managers, whilst working alongside a supportive team. Ensuring HR processes are ran efficiently as well as supporting with ER casework.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Supporting with ER casework, predominantly absence management and sickness management.
  • Supporting with well-being initiatives.
  • Assisting with recruitment when required.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Handling policy development and ensuring alignment with best practices.

We are looking for:

  • Experience supporting with ER cases, especially Sickness and Absence Management.
  • Previous experience gained working as a Generalist.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Experience using HR Systems.
  • Ability to start with a quick turnaround.
