Reed HR are supporting a private sector company in Sheffield to recruit a permanent, full time HR Manager. They are looking for a true generalist who would be keen to progress with the company. The role is paying circa 40k and would preferably be based on site, but are open to discussing hybrid options. Benefits include: 23 holidays + BH (up to 25 with service), birthday off, vitality insurance, 4x annual salary death in service and moreResponsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for managers and employees
  • Day to day management of the People Team
  • Providing advice and assistance on company policies, procedures and legislation
  • Resolve employee relations issues including facilitating conflict resolutions, managing absence and performance, disciplinary action and grievance procedures
  • Working with hiring managers to execute the recruitment process
  • Ensuring the training and development needs of the workforce in line with personal development, job requirements and business objectives
  • Update the HR management system for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy throughout
  • Compile HR documents where necessary, including job descriptions, offers of appointment, contracts of employment and employee relations documentation
  • Assist the Head of People with the implementation of HR strategies
  • Working towards and implementing HR projects
