Your new companyA fantastic, large public sector business in Sheffield.Your new roleAs the People Officer within Recruitment and Selection, you will have responsibility for a growing team (2 currently), so you must be an excellent communicator with supervisory experience. Working 18.5 hours a week, Monday to Wednesday, you will become part of a job-share.You will provide a high quality, effective and efficient, customer-focused recruitment service for employees and stakeholders. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of recruitment process and be a strong administrator. You most definitely need proven experience of providing excellent customer service.Duties:-
- You will assist in the design, application, co-ordination and monitoring of recruitment and selection transactional processes.
- Support and assist in the delivery of people projects in the delivery of the people's strategic and operational objectives.
- Oversee the maintenance of manual and computerised people transaction processes, ensuring the accurate recording of personal and employment information.
- Undertake thorough data quality checking of the work of the team and resolve difficult problems as appropriate.
- Be responsible for the collection, maintenance and analysis of statistical data, including trends and projections.
- Interrogate systems and collate information to produce timely reports in an appropriate form to enable managers to make strategic decisions based on data analysis.
- Supervise the disclosure check processes to ensure that checks are completed for all new employees and existing employees undertaking regulated activity.
- Supervise right to work and security checks of new and existing employees.
- Work closely with the People Partners, particularly the People Partner (Recruitment & Retention) to ensure delivery of an effective recruitment and selection transactional service.
- Support the People Services Team Leader in jointly attending meetings and other functions / forums as required.
What you'll need to succeedYou will have supervisory experience of a team, excellent communication skills and be looking for a part-time role. You must be a strong administrator, preferably with experience in the recruitment sector.What you'll get in return28 days annual leave (pro rata) plus Bank Holidays.
