My client are a large shared service organisation based in West Yorkshire, seeking an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team for a minimum of 3 months.

The role requires you to be in the office at least once a week, and is paying up to £25 per hour

Main duties of the role include;

  • Oversight of the payroll and pensions department
  • Support the team whilst they recruit on a permanent basis
  • Answer complex queries within the payroll team
  • Engage in project work where necessary

My client is therefore looking for a payroll professional with;

  • Local government experience or at least shared services experience
  • ITRENT/ Oracle experience
  • Strong, up to date legislation and technical knowledge
  • High volumes
  • Can get stuck in and hit the ground running, providing an arm around the team in a time of uncertainty
  • Project experience would also be a bonus
