We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school in a South Sheffield suburb. This full-time role involves covering PPA time across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons planned by the teaching staff, and leading booster sessions in core subjects for children who need extra support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes from Year 1 to Year 6 during PPA cover.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils to foster engagement and progress.
  • Lead booster sessions to help children working below expected progress in core subjects.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 TA/HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with staff and pupils.
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.
