Are you a qualified teacher (QTS) looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Join our dedicated and supportive team in a specialist SEND school catering to primary-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other additional needs.

We are seeking a passionate and confident SEND Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work with a class of primary-aged children, delivering engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs and supporting their educational and emotional development.

You will:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that align with the needs of your pupils.

  • Work collaboratively with an experienced team of Teaching Assistants (Ta's) to ensure all children receive the support they need.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and learning.

  • Use creative strategies to manage behaviour effectively and engage students in learning.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to support pupil's progress.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Confidence and experience in teaching children with additional needs such as ASD and ADHD.

  • Strong organisational skills to plan and assess effectively.

  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of all children.
