Role: Construction Lecturer (Built Environment)

Contract: Full-time - 37 hours per week, Interim, Starting ASAP!Location: South Yorkshire

Morgan Hunt is working closely with a college in West London to find exceptional Construction and Built Environment Lecturers to join a successful department, ideally to start ASAP.

We are looking for a lecturer that has experience in being able to deliver theory such as Health and Safety and the principles of the build environment for 3x groups of L1 construction skills and be able to deliver 3x 1hr sessions where learners will be able to develop numeracy skills as it applied to construction such as calculating squared area, calculating TAX/VAT, invoicing, the amount of materials required to plaster a room, fit doors and skirting, block paving, tiling a room etcAll applicants for this Construction and Built Environment Lecturer role will ideally have:

  • Degree in Built Environment or other related subjects.
  • A full UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTLLS, DTLLS, Diploma in Education, etc.).
  • Recent experience of teaching Built Environment.
  • Recent experience within a UK Secondary School or UK Further Education and Training College.
  • A valid, fully Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
