Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team, specialising in air and sea freight. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and developing tailored logistics solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the air and sea freight sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients, focusing on both SMEs and large enterprises.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the operations team to develop customized freight solutions that address client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years in business development, sales, or a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Understanding of air and sea freight operations, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.

Renumeration:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum + Commission
