We are seeking a highly organised Compliance Officer to cover a maternity leave at our head office in Shrewsbury! This also has the development opportunity to become permanent at the end of the maternity cover as a 'Branch Resourcer’ for the right candidate!

Compliance Officer role includes -

  • Liaising with candidates to ensure they provide the correct documents for clearance;
  • Checking cloud based files for each candidate and ensuring all relevant compliance checks are completed;
  • Communicating daily with consultants to ensure the quickest turnaround time for clearing candidates;
  • Sending spreadsheet to confirm weekly payroll (using excel) and chasing up candidate online timesheets;
  • Assisting in phone support, liaising with candidates and schools in a professional manner and passing messages on / assisting with bookings for supply staff;
  • Resourcing for new candidates; sourcing, attracting and securing education professionals using the database and job boards.

Salary : £22,000 - £26,000 dependant on experience

Hours: Full time

Hybrid option available once fully trained (3 days in office / 2 WFH)

Must be able to commute to office - SY1 3GA

Maternity contract with a view to perm (as per ad)

The ideal candidate will have -

  • A friendly and personable attitude with the desire to provide outstanding service;
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to interact with people of all levels;
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail;
  • Experience of using MS Software programmes, and previous experience using Candidate Management systems is preferable, but not essential.
