# Electrical Design Engineer T&D - HV Cabling Projects - Permanent - Salary Dependent on Experience - Various UK Locations

## What you need...

- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally chartered at the most senior levels

- 4/5 years+ experience in National Grid, substation, and general energy projects

- Experience in the design of transmission & distribution systems for utility companies based on international standards

- Ability to carry out interdisciplinary coordination and work effectively with leads to resolve design issues

- Hands-on experience with CYMCAP software and cable sizing calculations

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Office, and AutoCAD or MicroStation

As a HV Cabling Design Engineer, you will participate in all stages of cable system projects, from initial design to commissioning and handover.
