We are working with a provision in Shrewsbury to recruit for an experiencedEarly Years Assessorfull-time, fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the next generation of Early Years practitioners.

Key Responsibilities for the Early Years Assessor:

  • Assessing Early Years students within their nursery placements.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to ensure they meet course requirements and develop practical skills.
  • Observing, marking, and providing constructive feedback on students' performance.
  • Completing associated administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Building strong relationships with students, nursery staff, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years education or assessing (e.g., Level 3 or higher in Early Years, TAQA, A1 Award).
  • Experience working within Early Years settings or with Early Years students.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
