* Build and maintains excellent rapport with all key customers, understanding their needs and delivering to their requirements. Develop a deep understanding of the parts used and their applications.* Actively pursue opportunities to upsell and follow up on orders to meet revenue targets.* Accurately process customer sales orders and ensure that customers receive all necessary information promptly.Customer Service* Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent overstocking, ensuring levels align with anticipated sales.* Provide outstanding customer service by collaborating with customers to solve problems and manage expectations effectively. * Serve as an ambassador for the brand, promoting a positive company image and demonstrating pride in our excellent products.* Follow up on unpaid invoices with key customers as part of the regular contact process.Planning* Schedule work in accordance with existing guidelines, collaborating with colleagues to optimize workflow for the plant.* Maintain regular communication with customers to anticipate their needs and accurately forecast revenue levels.Administration* Ensure shipping documentation and export management processes are carried out to the highest standards in close coordination with the Warehouse team.* Process invoices promptly once goods are dispatched.Safety, Health, and Environment* Actively participate in a "Health & Safety First" culture, ensuring attendance at and comprehension of Health & Safety training sessions.Minimum Requirements and DesirablesTechnical CriteriaKnowledge, Skills & Aptitudes* Proven track record of providing excellent customer service, building rapport, and achieving targets.* Good hands-on organization skills - must be able to plan and prioritize workload using their own initiative.* Highly computer literate, with experience in Navision or ERP systems.* Excellent telephone and email manner.* Background in data analysis.* Proficiency in Excel.* Proven track record of order entry.* Must be able to demonstrate skills.Behavioural Criteria* Has initiative and a proven track record in problem-solving and is logical in decision-making.* Able to build relationships with ease and maintain rapport even under difficult circumstances.* Good manners and polite language.* Thrives under pressure.* Can work within guidelines but is able to question and challenge.* Hands-on operational experience.This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.
