TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a fantastic and firm of chartered accountants based in Sittingbourne in their recruitment for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading accountancy practice with a mixed corporate and not for profit client base. The role would include:

  • Assisting with audits, including planning and field work.
  • General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
  • Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
  • Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 18 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA
  • A practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice
  • A knowledge of various software packages
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred
