Sonic Summary

An established forwarder is seeking an Air Export Operator with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Air Exports.
The role involves managing shipments via Airfreight, Seafreight, and road/courier, including cross trade shipments and full door-to-door file management.
Daily responsibilities include client communication through emails, phone calls, and Teams meetings, as well as booking shipments and closing files with supplier costs.
Candidates should have good knowledge of Excel/Word and an understanding of Dangerous goods handling, with training provided after the probation period.
The position offers a salary of up to £32K, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, and requires a car driver due to the company location.

We are working with an established forwarder who is looking for an Air Export Operator.

We are looking for at least 1 years’ experience within Air Exports.

Role InvolvesShipments arranged via Airfreight/Seafreight and road/courier from around the World to multiple locations, Cross trade shipments from supplier to door for clients. Dealing on daily basis with clients via e-mails/phone and Teams meetingsTime sensitive shipmentsFull door to door file management required by operational staff.On-line tracking system direct to clientsBooking of shipments with airlines/ courier companiesClosing of files with costs shown from suppliersSystem used in house are Boxtop and ASM Gems, would be great if they had knowledge of system but not required as we can train to use the systems.Potential visits to LHR warehouse for checking of products received.Good knowledge of Excel/Word and other software required.Understanding of Dangerous goods handling and regulations - training would be offered after probation period.

Car driver due to company location.

Working hours - Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 working hours - (1 hour lunch break) - subject to agreement before start date
