We are working with a thriving retail company, and as part of their growth, are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their busy HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their HR career in a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

As the HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their HR team by ensuring the smooth processing of employee information and documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing new starter documentation, including issuing Contracts of Employment, and ensuring Right to Work documentation is checked and compliant.

  • Collaborating closely with the payroll team to ensure all paperwork for new starters, leavers, and employee record changes is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Issuing letters confirming any changes to employees' terms and conditions of employment.
  • Maintaining and managing employee files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and filed correctly.
  • Handling colleague enquiries over the phone or via email, providing a helpful and efficient service.
  • Conducting new starter calls and exit interviews to support employee transitions.
  • Undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks to support the wider HR team as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a similar HR role.
  • A solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR processes, with great attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience using HR and Payroll systems.
  • The ability to manage tight deadlines and effectively multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic attitude with strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
