Technical Specialist

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Specialist to join our team! This is a full time, permanent role working remotely with some frequent travel to sites & offices within the London area.

We provide environmental sensors, networks, and data solutions to support decarbonisation efforts globally. We drive real environmental change by leveraging the power of real-time data with cleantech technologies.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the service which involves performance monitoring, investigative activities of deployment solutions and strategic collaboration across various departments.

  • Deploy monitoring equipment and evaluate the contravention levels at specific locations pre and post solution deployment.
  • Monitor system performance across the estate, working closely with the Service Delivery and Service Desk Managers to identify locations for investigation.
  • Undertake Post Deployment Ground Truth exercises as required & requested.
  • Provide comprehensive technical guidance and support to field engineers, addressing and resolving technical issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and assist with installation/modification sign-off post location specific investigations.
  • Conduct and approve detailed site surveys for delivery projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present survey reports to stakeholders, outlining findings and recommendations as required.

What we are looking for:

  • High level knowledge of the Videalert product, visual tracking engines, ANPR with experience in technical support, field engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of site survey processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills from a client facing background.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to product development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
